Manchester-based electro-pop outfit Beck Pocket have just released their new single “22ND CENTURY“! we’ve covered their music before, and they’ve got such a unique energy behind their tracks, with such excellent use of sounds, real grooves and driving drum patterns, matched with flowy, dreamy vocals, which ensure their songs are put on repeat! the production here is so well done, bringing in something new constantly to maintain a fresh feel – well worth a listen!

North-East/Manchester’s Provenance have just released their new single “Save It For The Weekend“! following the success of their previous tracks, which have gained a bunch of streams and coverage, they’re back with another driving, no-nonsense indie rock tune. it’s got a real sense of style behind it, combining powerful guitar riffs with sharp synthesisers that excellently compliment the vocal, and with a proper anthemic hook, it’s sure to be one to listen over and over to!

a familiar face for us, Ladybarn have just put out their new track “Has To Be You“! we’ve had them perform for us in the past, and covered their music a bunch, and we’re always so in awe of their musicianship and the passion they put in their music – this tune is no different. opening up with a dark, dreary atmosphere, the lyricism creates such a powerful image, and it’s matched excellently by a flowing guitar melody, and the track opens up and flows effortlessly, building to a real gorgeous soundscape that truly proves their musical ability.

we’ve covered Punch-In’s music a bunch throughout this year, and they’ve just put out a new single “Trespassing“! immediately from the get-go, there’s a lovely flow behind the track, bass and drums working in perfect unison to create a fantastic groove, which allows for the jangly guitar pattern and vocal melodies to soar expertly above them. the lyrics are proper down-to-earth, conversationalist tone, conveying their story through a grounded lens. it’s another great tune under their belt!

his first single of the year, Euan Blackman has just put out his new track “Piece of My Heart“! blending a huge range of influences, the indie-pop songwriter has brought together a range of genres to create something that’s really his own, with an anthemic, singalong chorus, lovely melodies and a powerful drumbeat and bassline creating such a strong foundation for the track. it’s a super tune, and with a strong backlog already under his belt – it’s well worth checking out his full discography!

Seoul Metro, aka Chris Gibson, has just released his album “Is This Real?“! a Bandcamp-exclusive release, you can hear so many various influences throughout, with nods to dream-pop, post-punk and indie-rock – his ability to craft a memorable, catchy and inimitable track is second to none. each of the tracks has it’s own identity, yet maintain a correlation with one another, and flow expertly throughout the runtime of the album, and his lyricism paints a picture superbly – it’s a fantastic listen!

a favourite of ours on the North West scene, Evie Moran has just released her EP “Scenes from the Subconscious“! we’re huge fans of Evie’s delicate, yet fierce songwriting style, with lyricism that’s both introspective, inspiration and intricate. the EP sounds fantastic, with such expertly executed instrumentation and production that perfectly compliment her lyricism and guitarwork – her ability to convey such a complex array of emotion and experience within her music is second to none. it’s definitely one to check out!

we’ve covered a bunch of the singles from Emily Mercer’s new album “Read Aloud“, and the full release is out now! there’s so many quality tracks on there, with such attention to detail production-wise, and lovely dreamy atmospheres with a variety of instrumentations and vocal harmonies, and her lyrical ability is on full display here, where she’s able to relay such a story within her lyrics with what feels like no effort. there’s such a lovely flow within the album, and gorgeous uses of space – an excellent listen through!
