tonight we’re down at the Grafton Arms celebrating the 5 year anniversary of our open mic night!
we’ve had so many incredible Tuesdays at the Grafton, with so much talent performing for us week in week out and tonight is shaping up to be a proper belter
7pm start, cheap drinks on offer, don’t miss out on some of Manchester’s finest talent performing for us
we’re delighted to be able to announce a headline show for Atticus Flinch at the Eagle Inn on the Friday 21st of August
featuring the talents of our Eyam, michael webster and Wanda, Atticus Flinch will be performing a headline set and with support from the incredible Georgia Johnson (and more tbc!), it’s looking to be a lovely evening of dreamy folk goodness
we can’t wait for next Tuesday at the Grafton Arms for our 5 year anniversary open mic special!
we’ve had so many fantastic nights down at the Grafton on a Tuesday, having so many amazing musicians perform for us and met so many good pals through it
today marks three years since the release of “Molotov“, the final single ahead of Anyoneโs Ghost‘s debut album
featuring collaboration between Wanda, michael webster, Eyam and Scatterchild, this is one of our favourite tracks we’ve released and we’re so proud to have been able to put this piece of art into the world.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Skin” from Zara Smile! ๐
we’ve covered Zara’s music a bunch in the past, and we’re always so blown away by their ability to write captivating, relatable songs that not only feel personal and raw, but have a real sense of purpose and intent behind them. we were a huge fan of their latest single “Better” and we’ve been looking forward to new music for a good while now! ๐
this new single “Skin” is a direct parallel to it’s pop-punk predecessor, with a much more intimate and intricate nature right from the start, feeling much more of like a late-night conversation with a close friend. the track flows effortlessly, with the addition of vocal harmonies, swirling violin melodies, and a light yet grounded rhythm that allows the track to really breathe, giving ample room for Zara’s songwriting ability to shine. it’s a real testament to their musical ability, being able to convey true passion and emotion with such variety in their songwriting! definitely one to keep an eye on for 2026 ๐
you can find the track on all streaming platforms, and you can support the single directly on Bandcamp by purchasing it over at https://zarasmile.bandcamp.com/track/skin ๐ฟ
