Manchester-based singer-songwriter Limbo Days have just released their new single “Man On The Moon“!
over the course of the past few years, Elliot has put out an incredibly strong run of singles that have really set him apart as one to watch on the scene, with a real aptitude for creating a soulful track that encompasses both emotion and musical ability. his songwriting ability allows him to convey his feelings and passion in a manner that’s easily relatable to any listener, proving his quality to create authentic and powerful music.
this new single “Man On The Moon” is true evidence of that quality, opening up with a luscious piano pattern that creates a gorgeous backdrop for the track, allowing for his vocal to take centre-stage as it flows effortlessly across the melody line, and with the addition of strings, saxophone and backing vocals, it envisions a dreamy soundscape that truly compliments the excellent songwriting. as it opens up into the chorus, the rhythm drops in and gives the track a proper groove behind it – the track has a real story to tell and it’s truly a wonderful listen!

the track sounds fantastic, a gorgeous soundscape crafted between the acoustic guitar and cello, which work in perfect unison to provide a luscious backdrop for the vocal – the delicate delivery and raw lyricism ensure the listener is hanging onto every word. we love the slow build of the full instrumentation in the first chorus, and it culminates in a lovely, flowing outro to the track, feeling both intimate and open; it’s a gorgeous listen and we can’t wait to hear what they’ve got in store next! ๐ค
