we’ve had HealeyBadger perform for us a good few times now at our open mics, and we’re always blown away by their professional performances, their quality songwriting talent and excellent musicianship – it’s not hard to see why they’ve been going down a storm across the North West and beyond at their gigs 🎶
this new single sounds incredible, with a real jazzy element right from the get-go, a lovely feel good atmosphere with the rhythm sections in perfect sync, creating a fantastic soundscape, and a brilliant backdrop for the lead vocal to take charge – Di’s vocals sound amazing here, and her delivery is top-notch; really outpouring the emotion and feelings to make this track one to remember. the backing of the bass and drums give the track a real sense of groove, accentuating the silky pianowork – it’s a super lovely listen 🎧
