Our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new single from Scatterchild “Run Too Far“! 
We’ve been big fans of Scatterchild’s music since discovering him during the pandemic, with his intricately crafted tracks with such attention to detail – his headline for us at Cultplex earlier this month was phenomenal, a real indication of his talent.
After the release of his EP in November last year we’ve been waiting for new music from him and this doesn’t disappoint – setting the mood right from the get-go with a luscious guitar pattern, driving rhythm and a carefully-constructed soundscape behind him, his vocal is given plenty of room to shine through. His songwriting ability is on full display here, being able to convey such emotion through his lyrics, and being able to write a catchy hook without detracting from the purpose of the song, fantastic stuff. We’re always in awe of his intimate and raw lyrical talent
