our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Parking Fines” from Sophie & The Silhouettes! 🔈
their first new release in three years, they’ve got a strong run of tracks already under their belt, and with a bunch of recent gigs under their belt plus a headline on the horizon, they’re out to make a huge return on the Manchester scene 🌠
this new single sounds great, with unrelenting punky energy right from the get-go, huge driving rhythm that pushes the track forward effortlessly, anthemic singalong choruses and no-nonsense, direct songwriting, it’s both an upbeat tune and an inner retrospection upon desire and needs. it’s well worth a listen 💥
you can find the track on all streaming platforms, or you can support it directly on Bandcamp at https://sophieandthesilhouettes.bandcamp.com/album/parking-fines 🎧
