next Thursday they’ll be performing a full headline set, with support from Really Rhubarb and a big shout to our good pals Lamp Oil Presents for putting the show together.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new single “let me go” from Jenni Orlopp π
the Manchester-based alt-pop artist has a strong repertoire of music behind her already, with a run of singles and EP released, and her dark-wave styled genre-blending tracks have set her as one to definitely keep an eye out for β¨
this new single sounds incredible, right from the get-go it’s got a driving energy, with a dark and fierce synth line forming the base of the track, powerful rhythm complimenting the groove and her vocal takes centre-stage, delivering personal and raw lyricism expertly. she utilises flowing melodies throughout the track, with guitar riffs and synth runs that work in unison to create a vivid atmosphere within the song; she’s able to paint a fascinating picture through the track, with an incredible use of lyricism, instrumentation and production. π
