a familiar face for us, Jonny Beer has just put out “Aeroplanes“! following the release of his EP last year, he’s come back with another folk-rock anthem – albeit a more moody tone, it’s got a lovely swaying groove to it, and Jonny’s vocals cut through sharply to ensure the attention of the listener is on his expert wordcraft. his ability to convey a story is fantastic, and this tune is real evidence of his talent!
we’ve caught Kieran Arnold perform so many times now, and we’re always astounded by his ability to create a catchy yet powerful tune – and this new single “Get Away” is evident of that! it’s got a proper 90’s indie feel to it, but with his more modern storytelling and songwriting elements, and his story is portrayed in expert fashion here. with a full band behind him, it’s only elevated his talent and we’re huge fans of his music! well worth a listen!
we’ve caught FLEUR ROUGE a fair few times live now, and her ability to command a crowd’s attention is second to none – something that is evident all throughout her new EP “Wish You The Worst“! with driving basslines, expert production and no-nonsense lyricism, these tunes are quality and provide a real look into her world. she’s able to utilise great vocal melodies, catchy hooks and powerful lyricism to create something that is truly unique to her style.

we’ve been fans of Harriet Dagnall for a good while now, having caught her live so many times and she’s a real cornerstone of the Manchester folk scene, her new track “Two Doors Down” only proves her talent even further. it’s a delicate, raw track that not only feels intricate, but also opens up to a gorgeous atmosphere, with expert production behind the track, elevating her innate ability to write a song – her vocal melodies and lyrical capabilities are on full display here. it’s a brilliant tune and well worth checking out!
we covered pyncher’s first single a few months ago, and they’ve returned with this new tune “Space Rocket Simulator“! it’s got a super groove behind it, with the bass and drums working in perfect unison to create a lovely foundation, and with gorgeous guitar melodies, and commanding vocals, it not only sounds fantastic but the contrasts of the verses to the choruses really ensure their musical capabilities are on full display. they’ve managed to create something that traverses a plethora of genres, and the tune sounds incredible – we love it!
we’ve had Freddie Evans perform for us at a bunch of our open mics, and we love his raw and passionate songwriting style, and he’s just released his debut single “So Long, Sweet Summer Breeze“! compromising of two tracks, they’re both two delicate and intricate tunes, really ensuring that the live element is kept within the music, yet adding extra instrumentation and production techniques to give it that studio feel. Freddie’s vocals sound fantastic here, and he’s able to convey his story in adept fashion – it’s a lovely listen and well worth checking out!
