our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Minervadaisy “Euphoria”!
Minerva is a Manchester-based songwriter and pianist who we’ve had play for us plenty of times now and she always blows us away with her heart-warming vocals, intricate piano melodies and amazing talent! she’s even playing our first event back Cream of the Crop: THE RETURN! on the Sat 7th August which will be top!
“Euphoria” follows on from Minerva’s last single and only proves her worth and talent as an artist even more 
it’s an uplifting ballad accompanied by beautiful piano lines and beautiful vocals – a lovely romantic tune that is perfect for a rainy day like today!

SO made up to be able to announce our first gig back at The Thirsty Scholar. you guys made our mid-lockdown ones last year so great, having to turn people away cause we ran out of seating space, and just a blooming lovely vibe in that whole chaotic year! 
on the Saturday 7th August we’ll be returning with a stellar lineup, including Minervadaisy (with full band!) Scatterchild Harrison Rimmer Dr Fabola and our very own Olivia Browse and michael webster! this is shaping up to be one of our best gigs yet. can’t wait for it!

tomorrow marks about ONE MONTH since we released A Good Winter in June with Anyone’s Ghost 
we’re SO proud of this release. it’s been so lovely to see all your guys’ positive and lovely feedback on it, and we sold out of t shirts so quickly, and we’re a very good chunk through the tapes too!
it’s been an amazing journey and we can’t wait for even more stuff coming up soon. we’re SO close to 10k plays on Spotify!!

we’ve had a lovely time over the past year hosting these, they’re been such a lush way for musicians to keep performing through lockdown but alas it must come to an end as next Tuesday (A WEEK TODAY!) we have our first open mic at the Grafton Arms
