our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the amazing new single from Gen and the Degenerates – “Underwear”! 
this tune is so boss! with driving basslines, guitar riffs, huge drums.. amazing vocals on this and just an absolute journey from start to finish. these guys are definitely ones to watch! 
we heard this and we were like hell yeah, this has gotta be featured.
‘Underwear’ really sets the band apart from the rest on the scene, bringing raw power and an unimitable statement that they’re here to do what they want, and empower people to do the same. 
amazing stuff!! exactly what we want to see from artists and bands!

our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Beware Beware, ‘Secrets of the Sea’! 
blending a whole bunch of genres, from psychedelic influence, folky singer songwriting aspects, ‘Secrets of the Sea’ will bring you some quiet peace of mind in a time where everything is chaotic and crazy. the simplicity of the track and the way it travels and flows throughout the song is easily able to transport you to pastures new! 
we’re huge fans of Beware! Beware! and this only adds to their lovely variety of music already out. we can’t wait to catch them live in the future!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Cold Water Swimmers, ‘So Young’!
this hard-hitting (whilst still pretty mellow!?) tune is truly Northern, and takes us to a lovely alternate 90s timeline where punk was at the forefront of the UK scene – what could have been! blending punky guitar riffs with folky, acoustic guitars, and deadpan vocals – a real top one to listen to on this drearly-sunny Monday here in Manchester!

we’ve featured so much new music now, and put on so many livestreams over all these endless lockdowns that we seem to be experiencing – there’s more plans in the works, but we gotta wait until we can see each other safely again your support means the world!

so many amazing artists got involved with us this year, even with all of the chaos that’s been brought our way. we’d love to tag them all but there must be hundreds!
so much was happening! we even put on a few socially distanced gigs on which were super lovely. a highlight for us was that gig with War Stripes at the start of the year – incredible band with a huge sound 
we’ve had so much planned and so much came to nothing, but nevertheless we keep on 
two releases by Adam Carpenter Music and four by michael webster too.. we’re looking forward to the new year! 
a huge thank you to all the artists who have got involved with us, and anyone who has checked out any of the features or streams we’ve been putting on. you the best 
hopefully we’ll be back out there, smashing out gigs open mics and releases on the regular real soon! see you all at a gig in 2021
