here’s our two gigs for you all this weekend! a ridiculously busy one for us at the moment and we’re even.. sorting out even more hahaha. crazy!

this coming Friday 3rd September we’re down at The English Lounge for our Freshly Sliced songwriter event with music from Blacksheeplad Pat Gallagher and John W Doyle Music – gonna be a super lovely night with some amazing music! had a blast at these lately, so make sure you get over to Freshly Sliced: Blacksheeplad / Pat Gallagher / John W Doyle

and then on Saturday afternoon from 1pm we’re at The Thirsty Scholar with our Cream of the Crop event! we’ve got music from Tay Temple (who will have just released her brand new single!) Ayanam Udoma Music Anyone’s Ghost and Gideon Foster – looks to be a boss afternoon of live music! get down to Cream of the Crop: 4th September!

we’ve got two open mics for you all this week we’ll be down at The Grafton Arms tonight, our weekly Tuesday one – 7pm start, and we’re covering over at Royal Oak, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy this coming Sunday with Ayanam Udoma Music as our featured artist!

super looking forward to these, each week at the Grafton has been simply sublime and tonight’s is looking no different, and Laura Farrow puts on a boss one down at the Royal Oak. always a lovely atmosphere for your Sunday nights! let us know if you’d like a slot for either of them – either drop us or michael webster a message!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new tune from Granfalloon, “Working On Your Own”!

taken from the new album “Positive Songs”, this song is a lovely folky rock ballad that focuses on the crazy life of shift workers, especially throughout the pandemic – it’s a lovely tribute to those in society who are often overlooked! really great sentiment of the song.

with a mellow soundscape, relaxed instrumentation and fantastic vocals from Lomax, it really sets the scene of his music and gives you a real insight into his musical ability. sounding great with his band!
