just a quick one before the new year comes in – we’re always on the lookout for new local music to feature if you’ve got an upcoming release, or fancy getting involved with us, then just drop us an email at michael@breadrecords.co.uk
we do a lot of features on the regular and once we’re allowed again, we’ll be right back to gigs
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Gloria Band, ‘To Say Goodbye’!
the up and coming band from Lancaster have really set the bar high with this latest single, blending indie rock vibes with mellow and chilled out songwriting – and then being able to explode into a wall of sound! a great tune, definitely worth adding to your playlists
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the lovely new single from Redwood – UK, “Honey Sauce”!
I know this isn’t so much a Northern release (as we usually do!) but when we heard this we fell in love with the way it shapes itself throughout the track, weaving its way through the music and providing a beautiful ethereal atmosphere for the listener to relax in! the guitar playing is super lovely as well, such a well put together track.
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single fromย We The Northย – ‘In a World of my Own’!ย
these lads are a Manchester-based punk threepiece who released their debut EP last year and have just put out their brand new single here! it’s a hard-hitting love song that drives along crunchy basslines and guitar riffs – something we all need now and again!ย
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single fromย meatbehindabeatย aka Alan Jacob, ‘Snow Globe!’ย
we were introduced to Alan’s music through the last single ‘Angel Constellation’, and we love the ambient and relaxed atmosphere of this new single! it really gives us the Christmas feel (without any of the tacky cliches that usually make up the typical seasonal song!)ย
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Crying Beauty Queens, ‘Blackbird’!
ever since we had them play at The Old Abbey Taphouse (last year!) we’ve been huge fans of them, with their unique blend of indie/singer-songwritery lyrics and their heavy and full sound! they blew us away with how great they were and we’re so stoked to be hearing new music from them
you can find the new single on all streaming platforms + their artist page on Spotify is at https://open.spotify.com/artist/0WxLztD6XJMJ48CbDqByGN p.s. check out their song ‘Darling’, easily one of our favourite songs!!
we’re so honoured to have such lovely support for what we do! it means so much for people to be getting involved and listening to some amazing local music. this is how we build ourselves a better tomorrow, by supporting each other ๐ค
we’ve always stood by this notion to help people out, it’s a true essence of our Northern spirit. from here in Manchester we’ve managed to build a beautiful community of people and it brightens up our rainy skies to see how much talent is around us! ๐
if you’d like to discover new music and help support us, we have SO many features now with so many unreal musicians on there!ย ๐คย you can find all of it here on our website atย www.breadrecords.co.uk/features/ย ๐
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from We Three Kings ‘Savoir Fair’!
the Manchester-based outfit blend punk and rock to give you a proper dose of heaviness for their new single ‘Savoir Fair’, giving you raw solid sounds that really make us miss being down at gigs, listening to loud music and drinking copious amounts of alcohol
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the single from Kaleiders ‘Alright’ taken from their brand new album ‘Melancholy Undertones’! โ
the Warrington-based punk outfit bring a unique sound to their new album, combining indie, rock and punk elements and we love this track! a modern-day anthem for the youth, calling for solidarity and the knowledge that we’re all in this together โ๏ธ
our feature for yesterday’s Just The Crust is the lovely track ‘Cliche’ from John Mason‘s new EP ‘Time To Think’!
we adore the mellow and calm atmosphere of this track and it’s definitely one to add to your playlists! John’s silky vocals and intricate guitarwork really set him apart from the rest – he’s sure to be one to watch!
