just a little reminder that you can find all of our features, music and gig listings here on our website!
we’ve featured so much new music now, and put on so many livestreams over all these endless lockdowns that we seem to be experiencing – there’s more plans in the works, but we gotta wait until we can see each other safely again your support means the world!
bit of a different post for today but we just wanted to highlight this extremely important documentary that’s just come out in support of the music industry!
‘This Is Just An Interval’ is a short film created to highlight the effects that coronavirus has had on the industry, directed by Matthew Boone – in support of the #WeMakeEvents initiative hopefully this is able to reach those in government and educate them on the problems that live music is currently facing, and provide proper financial support for musicians, artists, and creatives in the music industry.
most of us all know about the devastating impact that this pandemic has had on local businesses, especially music venues and creatives – a real important one today
head over to https://youtu.be/bN9sI_P-gQE to find the documentary on YouTube, give it a share, a like, and make sure that it gets seen as many people as possible!
so many amazing artists got involved with us this year, even with all of the chaos that’s been brought our way. we’d love to tag them all but there must be hundreds!
so much was happening! we even put on a few socially distanced gigs on which were super lovely. a highlight for us was that gig with War Stripes at the start of the year – incredible band with a huge sound
we’ve had so much planned and so much came to nothing, but nevertheless we keep on two releases by Adam Carpenter Music and four by michael webster too.. we’re looking forward to the new year!
a huge thank you to all the artists who have got involved with us, and anyone who has checked out any of the features or streams we’ve been putting on. you the best
hopefully we’ll be back out there, smashing out gigs open mics and releases on the regular real soon! see you all at a gig in 2021
just a quick one before the new year comes in – we’re always on the lookout for new local music to feature if you’ve got an upcoming release, or fancy getting involved with us, then just drop us an email at michael@breadrecords.co.uk
we do a lot of features on the regular and once we’re allowed again, we’ll be right back to gigs
just want to give everyone who has played our virtual open mic this year a big shout out. it’s been a difficult one for a lot of musicians but being able to keep our open mics going has been great, even if it’s in an online format.
and finally on Sunday night from 8pm we’ll have the amazing Tay Temple performing for us as part of our Fresh Batch: Tay Temple! feature where we get some of our favourite local musicians to play an extended set for us!
we can’t wait to enjoy ourselves and have a glass of wine or two whilst we’re still stuck in tier 3!
we’re so honoured to have such lovely support for what we do! it means so much for people to be getting involved and listening to some amazing local music. this is how we build ourselves a better tomorrow, by supporting each other 🖤
we’ve always stood by this notion to help people out, it’s a true essence of our Northern spirit. from here in Manchester we’ve managed to build a beautiful community of people and it brightens up our rainy skies to see how much talent is around us! 🙃
if you’d like to discover new music and help support us, we have SO many features now with so many unreal musicians on there! 🤟 you can find all of it here on our website at www.breadrecords.co.uk/features/ 🍞
