our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Black Cat” from Darwin and The Finches 🔈
they’ve had a super year, having released a bunch of singles throughout, and performing at a load of shows across the UK – really making their mark on the music scene 👊
this single sounds fantastic, opening up with a dramatic, eerie guitar and harmonica pairing that really sets the scene for the track, building in intensity throughout with the addition of raw, bluesy guitar riffs, lovely vocal harmonies and expertly written lyricism, truly creating an authentic atmosphere within the song that perfectly compliments the lyrical content – with a real groove behind it that ensures the flow is steady, yet powerful 🌙
you can find the track on all streaming platforms, including over at https://open.spotify.com/album/3ESFOxC2mUYIsrECHuwcKN – well worth a listen! 🎧
