it’s the TWO YEAR anniversary of our first single that we released with Olivia Browse “Red Stripe“!
we were absolutely stoked to put this one out, it’s done so well and become a proper meme for us with the iconic “I’m busy” plus it’s at over 11k streams and we’ve had a wonderful journey with so much more music since then.
here’s to the future, we love Olivia and can’t wait to show you all that we have planned. you can find all of her music on all streaming platforms and on Bandcamp at https://oliviabrowse.bandcamp.com/
we are absolutely blown away by all your guys reception to Anyone’s Ghost “The Secret History” so much lovely feedback and we hit over 1k streams on Spotify in less than a week!!
plus, we had an absolute BLAST at The Peer Hat on Tuesday performing the first full band set for Latex Sounds – big love to everyone who came down and made it such a special night.
there’s only a week to go til we’re down at the Grafton Arms and we welcome Ed Barnes and Blake Cateris from Australia, on their UK tour!
we’ve been looking forward to this one for a while, caught some of the action from the shows that have already gone ahead for them and properly can’t wait to catch them perform for us – plus with support from Arms & Hearts and Max Macmillan, it’s bound to be a belter.
after how immense last night’s gig was down at The Peer Hat with Latex Sounds, coinciding with the release of the brand new single “The Secret History“, we are absolutely ecstatic for the show we’ve got down at Band on the Wall on the 20th of July for Anyone’s Ghost.
big big love to everyone who came down and supported us – we can’t wait for you all to hear the debut album “necromancer“. lots in the works over the next few months! find tickets at https://www.fatsoma.com/p/breadrecords
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Scott and The Flying Kicks “Want Me Dead / Growing Old“!
we’ve covered a whole bunch of his music in the past, and his EP last year was fantastic, a great collection off tracks that really show off his songwriting prowess. since then, he’s put out a string of fantastic singles that only solidify his ability as an artist – great to see.
this new single is a continuation of his solid musical capability – with a lovely guitar riff leading the track, and a strong rhythmic element grounding the song – and his conversationalist songwriting style here really gives the song a gorgeous flow! the brass in the background towards the latter section of the song is a gorgeous addition, really giving it a breath of fresh air and keeping the track interesting.
we’re back on down at The Thirsty Scholar today for our next Cream of the Crop songwriter matinée show!
there’s a stellar lineup for this one, with music from Simon Cunningham Abi TilCam Davies and Anniemusic! it’s gonna be lovely, with some incredible artists performing for us.
we’ll be starting up at 1pm or so, veggie/vegan food served all afternoon, quality pints on tap and free entry! find out more at our event Cream of the Crop: 1st April!
don’t miss out on these, so much talent – 7pm start for both, if you’re interested in performing at either get in touch with our very own michael webster
