today marks two years of “Bleep Test“, our first single with Scatterchild 🤘
such a great journey since then, with a full debut album release, a bunch of singles, an EP and a whole load of shows! here’s to the future 🌲
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “In The Long Dim Light” from Nat Dempsey ☀️
we’ve known Nat for ages now, and we’re massive fans of his down-to-earth songwriting style, and his innate talent to write a relatable and introspective song that has a real groove behind it, utilising his musical ability to create interesting and melodic progressions 👊
this new single is full evidence of his ability, opening up with a gorgeous dreamy guitar melody that matches his flowing vocal expertly, there’s a real luscious soundscape to this track, and his vocal ability takes centre stage as he commands the attention of the listener with his raw power. his lyrics are almost like a conversation, connecting effortlessly with the listener – and the drop into the chorus is beautiful. yet another incredible tune under his belt 🤝
