our Bread Social virtual open mic is almost already full! it’s crazy to see the amount of support and interest that this little online open mic has been getting, ever since we began it back in April last year.
we do these every Thursday and we’ve always got a stellar lineup of fantastic local talent we’ve already got 12 artists playing this week, and a few spots left if anyone would like to play!
if you fancy checking it out, we start up at 6pm with michael webster in our Bread Social group always worth a watch!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Ade, ‘Something Good’ – it’ll be out this Friday 29th Jan and you can presave it here: http://smarturl.it/adesomethinggood
‘Something Good’ really captures Ade’s evolving sound, with a more relaxed songwriting style you can really see that he has come into his own! The production on the track is simply divine, really highlighting the influences on the track and providing a lovely calm soundscape for Ade as he sings about his own personal thoughts. Great stuff!! It’s lovely to see our friends making strides
we especially love how the country influences are super prominent throughout this, but still maintain that original and unique sound that Ade has. we can’t wait to hear more!!
in around half an hour we’ll be starting off with Ade playing a set – and we’ve got Sam Tucker?Niamh Finan and Rob Crampton Music performing for us as well! what a lovely day of live music for this snowy Manchester day
from 3pm they’ve got a whole bunch of artists playing, including Bianca Alana Deep Sleep Kumas and michael make sure you tune in to catch all the acts! gonna be a lovely one
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new single from Daphne Did It, ‘Black Rose’!
Daphne Did It are a band that started in late 2020, with each band member recording their parts from home and working together over the internet throughout the coronavirus pandemic. The bassist, Ciro was part of War Stripes when we put them on last year!
‘Black Rose’ is a proper debut single, it’s got energy and power reminiscent of 90s alternative and grunge and really sets the scene for their future releases! can’t wait to see what this band has got planned!
