we’ve got our next Fresh Batch livestream tonight!!
from 8pm tonight we’ll have the absolutely incredible Rob Crampton Music performing a set for us! we can’t wait to hear his country-folk tunes, his last release “Until The Wheels Stop Turning” was one of our favourite tunes last year!
OH WOW you guys!!!! we’ve managed to get to the finals in the North West Music Awards for ‘Best Independent Record Label” with Red Spot Events!!
it’s a bit of a late post this one as we’ve only just found out.. but we’ve just released Olivia Browse‘s single, then we get told about this… what a day!!
we could never have even got this without all your support and we are SO grateful that we have such a lovely community behind us this means all of what we do will be judged by people behind the likes of BBC Radio Manchester XS Manchester Happy Mondays New Order and a whole load more!!! HOW INSANE!
there’ll be a livestream event on the 19th of May to determine the winners – head over to Red Spot Events page to find out more in the coming weeks, and we’ll be sure to keep you all informed of what’s going on
think after all of today’s craziness I need a can of red stripe to celebrate thank you all so much!
It’s a pleasure to announce we’ve just released our FIFTEENTH episode of Grain Radio! ☀️
This one is a proper belter, with some amazing artists from here and around Manchester – it’s lovely to be able to show you guys all this amazing music coming out around here!! a massive thank you, as always, to each of the artists for letting us use their music! 🎧
it’s the FINAL DAY you can cast your votes for the North West Music Awards with Red Spot Events! ☀️
we know we’ve gone on about it a whole bunch, but hey, it’d be lovely to win something like this wouldn’t it?! a massive thank you to all who have already voted – and to those who nominated us as well!! it’s crazy to think that people would put us forward for something like this ☕️
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the amazing new single from Natasha Nicole, “Alright In The End”!
blending influences from her past ventures in indie and rock bands, to a more softer, acoustic sound – we really rate this song, such a heavenly feel to it and super personal lyricism! for fans of Laura Marling, Adult Mom and Angel Olsen
“Alright In The End” is a fantastic debut single, written from a perspective looking at the pandemic and all that’s going on in the world and still maintaining a positive stance, even in light of it all. definitely worth a listen!!
just a lil post today to remind you guys that the voting for the Red Spot Events North West Music Awards is still open, til Tuesday 6th April!

we just wanna give a lil recommendation to also vote for Tay Temple for best new track, MILLICENT for best music video and UNO MAS for best new band! gotta rep those who support you, and are making waves on the scene here in the North West.
