our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Keddy Sowels “Reflection“!
a regular face here in Manchester, he’s been performing across the city at gigs and open mics and already has some lovely tunes out – well worth checking them out; and his brand new single here marks a different direction for the indie-rock artist. 🎸
“Reflection” is more of an electronic track, moving away from the guitar-based indie anthemic tone of his previous tracks, with synths and electronic drums making their way to the forefront of the tune – and with less singing, more rapping – it shows a different side to his music. 🎶 still maintaining the political and social commentary of his earlier tracks, it’s a stark look at the state of current society.
the latest release on the label, “have you heard of olivia browse?” by our very own Olivia Browse has been out for a month!
we’re blown away by all the support for it, so many people listening and hearing so much great things about it – big love to everyone who’s checked it out a huge shout to Shtum on production, Stakes for the feature and Parkridge Recording Company for mix/master to make this all come together
the final show of his mini-tour, he’ll be joined by Manchester’s finest up-and-coming talent Getner and BETS for what’s sure to be a fantastic night of music
