from next Wednesday 22nd Sept (not tomorrow!) we’ll be starting up our brand new open mic at The Lass O’Gowrie here in Manchester! The Lass is a cornerstone of the scene, having hosted one of the best open mics in the past and we’re stoked to be able to bring it back!

Harrison has been one of our biggest supporters for a long time and played many of our virtual open mics every single week, and we’re absolutely buzzing to actually be able to show you an exclusive sneak peek at this lovely music video he’s made up!
“The Travelist” sounds absolutely huge, with the punk rock overtones we’re so used to him doing and fantastic songwriting – Harrison’s vocals in this are out of this world as well. it’s a real class tune about his need to get out there and do it something we can completely relate to!

Absolutely beautiful chorusy guitar here from Ophelia for their debut single “Man on Mountain”. A real lush soundscape throughout the track, an absolutely top chorus – this tune ticks all the boxes for us. That distorted guitar riff too! Wow. Definitely ones to watch here! [SPOTIFY]
Manchester-based punks The Battery Farm are back with yet another massive tune “Roy Keane Isn’t Real”! Proper heavy and driving stuff from these guys, real punk ambassadors of the scene.
