we are proper made up to announce a new era of our gigs over at the Grafton Arms where we will be doing ticketed events to bring you some of the best talent around
for our first one here on the Saturday 25th of February we’ve got the incredible Lanterns performing for us they’ve been making waves in their home of East Lancashire and we’re proper made up to bring them to Manchester for a headline here at the Grafton. we’ve also got support from the brilliant The Internet Café and River Water! gonna be a belter.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from NEW DIVIDE “Delora”
after the release of their debut single last year, we’ve been proper looking forward to hearing more music from them – plus, we’ve had them play for us a bunch and we love their tunes, one of our favourite up-and-coming bands here in Manchester
this new tune only opens up their sound even more, going from more synth-based indie rock to a darker, more alternative feel with a bunch more distortion and atmosphere present in the track, a moody guitar riff that perfectly balances to Charlotte’s vocal and really puts an emphasis on the lyricism, which in itself is lovely and feels like you’re listening to an intimate conversation. halfway through the track, it takes a more grungey, heavier turn and shows off the versatility of the band – breaking down so well only to build back up to the final section and exploding in a wall of sound.. only to bring us back to it all with a huge ending chock-full of 90’s alternative undertones, guitar riffs, and explosive rhythm. incredible to hear!
tonight’s the night! we’re back on down at the Grafton Arms for our next headline with the fantastic At Fault!
it’s gonna be a belter, we had At Fault play for us back at the start of December and they smashed their set – plus, with support from the amazing talents of Elephant Talk and Thomas Rennie Music it’s sure to be a great display of the talent here in Manchester
we’ll be starting up around 7:30pm onwards, free entry, quality drinks on tap, great live music.. we can’t wait for this! find out more at our event Bread Records Presents: At Fault + Supports

we’ve got a load more stuff coming up over the next few months – keep your eyes out over at www.breadrecords.co.uk/events/ to find it all!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new tune “Sunset Paradise” from Cumbrian-based indie outfit The window view
they’ve been making waves up in the North for a while now, with singalong tunes and playing a bunch of gigs and that – they’ve pulled it all together with this release, their first single and it captures their style perfectly
full of indie-rock goodness, there’s riffs for days in it, opening with a lovely lead melody backed by a chorus-laden laidback chord progression. as the vocals come in, the track almost glides along with a dreamy atmosphere, perfectly complimenting Evan’s main vocal that creates a great contrast with it’s rough, ragged style.
boasting a fantastic singalong chorus, lyricism that creates such vivid imagery and real energy surrounding the track, it’s a fantastic debut single and really introduces the band in the best way possible. we also love the breakdown, bringing back in that lovely lead melody but expanding out to a fuller solo, without taking away from the laidback feel of the tune. well worth a listen!
we’re proper stoked to be able to announce the first of our headline shows down at the Grafton Arms this year!
for this one, we’ll have a headline set from the amazing talents of At Fault – they performed for us last year at Loafin’ Around and smashed their set, we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for us this time. supports to be announced shortly!
