our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Insomnia” by thesafe.band
we’ve known about these guys for a while now, having heard a few demos and we love their indie-rock alternative vibe, with influences from alt rock and punk bands across the board! 
they’ve spent the last six months recording this and we can’t wait to hear the full thing.
since the end of the last lockdowns, they’ve been gigging across North Manchester and have been honing their craft – they’ve just recently done a gig over at Retro – 78 Sackville Street as well here in Manchester. well worth checking out next time they’re about!
the new single “Insomnia” drops on New Year’s Eve (this Friday!) so make sure you head on over to their Facebook page and give em a like to be the first to hear it! sounds great so far and we’re looking to catching it in full!

we’ve had a super lovely *half* a year of gigs as well as all the fantastic releases we’ve put out! 
in the six months or so that we’ve been allowed, we’ve put on eighteen gigs with 62 artists performing for us – we also started off with a bunch of livestreams too, plus all the open mics we’ve been putting on at the Grafton Arms and The Lass O’Gowrie
lovely to see all this. 
we’ve had so many new faces grace the stage, it’s been wonderful to meet so many new artists and we’ve had so many boss ones. here’s to more coming up in 2022!

we’re back on down at The Lass O’Gowrie tonight for their final open mic of the year!
we’ve had so many incredible ones at The Lass and it’s so superb to be able to provide a platform for artists to perform, hone their skills and get their music out there so many fantastic talents have been down and a massive shout to everyone for coming down and performing for us!
