Just The Crust 01/02/21: Jessica Luise – Nice Try ✊

1st Feb 2021artist, bread, just the crust, local scene, new music, videoLeave a Comment

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Jessica Luise Music, ‘Nice Try’!

we first heard Jess’s music back last year, and we instantly loved it! after the release of her last single ‘Television Mister’, she’s back in 2021 with another absolute tune! ‘Nice Try’ blends Jess’s singer-songwriter lyricism with an indie-rock sound (even with a touch of surf rock-esque riffs!), complete with full band – sounds absolutely incredible. definitely one to watch for this year!

you can find ‘Nice Try’ along with the rest of Jessica Luise’s discography on Spotify at https://open.spotify.com/artist/5nvyskB2XUYqryBuiqY7vc (also available on all streaming sites, and bandcamp!)

Tom Welsh – You Came To Talk (NEW!)

28th Jan 2021artist, bread, local scene, new musicLeave a Comment

just a little shoutout today for Tom Welsh‘s new single ‘You Came To Talk’!

Tom put this out 3 days ago and it’s definitely worth checking out!! following up from his last single with Niamh Finan, Tom’s back with a real signature song for his unique folky, indie sound – with a real groove to the track and top quality songwriting you almost feel like you’re in the room with the band!

we’re a huge fan of Tom’s music and it’s great to hear him putting out music of such top calibre! check it out on Bandcamp at https://tomwelsh.bandcamp.com/track/you-came-to-talk it’s also available to stream!

Just The Crust 25/01/21: Ade – Something Good ☀️

25th Jan 202125th Jan 2021artist, bread, just the crust, local scene, new music, videoLeave a Comment

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Ade, ‘Something Good’ – it’ll be out this Friday 29th Jan and you can presave it here: http://smarturl.it/adesomethinggood

‘Something Good’ really captures Ade’s evolving sound, with a more relaxed songwriting style you can really see that he has come into his own! The production on the track is simply divine, really highlighting the influences on the track and providing a lovely calm soundscape for Ade as he sings about his own personal thoughts. Great stuff!! It’s lovely to see our friends making strides

we especially love how the country influences are super prominent throughout this, but still maintain that original and unique sound that Ade has. we can’t wait to hear more!!

you can presave it over at the above link, or you can head over to his Spotify at https://open.spotify.com/artist/5dx0H5J4og6LmPgyTunreB
