A big shout to each of the artists for letting us use their music for this – featuring music from:
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from the amazing YNES “God’s Little Punching Bag”!
returning with yet another lovely tune, YNES has been making waves across the Midlands with brit-pop fused indie rock tunes and this song is one of our favourites yet!!
with upbeat guitarwork, self-conscious lyricism and witty humour throughout, this song is an anthem of a doomed youth – a proper tune that will stick in your head for ages. definitely one to watch, we wouldn’t be surprised if YNES was headlining stages across the UK at all! another fantastic release from Grrrlgroannn!

we have heard a sneak preview of the tune and can confirm it’s a 100% certified banger absolutely fantastic!! we can’t wait for you all to hear it and put it on before you go out and party
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Elmo Ashall-Kelly Music, “Dedicated to the Best Friend”!
we’ve known Elmo for a very long time, one of the most prolific songwriters in Manchester with such a unique and chilled style, and lovely guitarwork – his songs are super lovely and really get his message across in the way that he wants to.
this new song “Dedicated to the Best Friend” is another fantastic release from him, following his latest single last year. with a luscious fingerpicking melody, and personal and image-inducing lyrics, this is a lovely ballad of friendship that we can all relate to. the video is fantastic too!
