we’re absolutely amazed that our very own Olivia Browse has just hit 8k streams on “Red Stripe”!!

this was our first release on the label with Olivia and we hold a special place in our heart for this tune, plus it’s an absolute banger – rumour has it it’s michael webster‘s sixth most played song on spotify in 2021 so great to see all the support you guys have given Olivia for this tune and all the others!!

New single from Narwhals – “3310 & A Pterosaur”! ☀️

we’re super glad to announce a brand new release on the label, “3310 & A Pterosaur” from our newest addition to our roster Narwhals!

Narwhals have been on our radar for a while now, their debut album “Two Dark Windows” from 2018 is a brilliant piece of writing, with a gorgeous soundscape behind it from the band and fantastic vocals from frontman Jacob. taking influence from bands such as The National, Frightened Rabbit and the lo-fi indie and alternative scene, they’re a great fit to the label and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

the new single will be released on the Friday 11th of February – we’re so stoked for you guys to hear this, it’s sounding absolutely brilliant – we’ll get pre-save links and the such for you soon! in the meantime, head on over to their Bandcamp at https://narwhalsuk.bandcamp.com/releases to find their debut album in full!

“Obliterate/Ugly” is over a year old?! 😎

how on earth has it been over a year since we released this EP “Obliterate/Ugly” with Adam Carpenter Music!?

we recorded this with Adam prior to the pandemic, then produced it all up in our studio, worked on it tirelessly during the initial lockdown (the “three-week one”!) and then released it last year on the 8th of May. it’s been a serious journey since then, but it’s absolutely amazing to see that people are still listening to this. that’s all we want for our artists, to help them create something unique and personal to them and then for people to engage with it and share in the experiences of the songs

we truly believe that some of Adam’s finest-written songs are on this EP, with punky elements, singer-songwriter elements, it’s a real expression of Adam and it’s a beautiful sight to see when a piece of music does that. highly recommend checking out “2:24” and “Obliterate Me” – such personal and relatable ideas in those songs, with a lovely lovely amount of distortion
