following on from yesterday’s post about our first gig down at the Grafton Arms and how insane it was, we decided to pop up our next one over there! 🤘

we’ve got the insane talents of Nat Dempsey whose been taking the scene by storm lately, and he’s going to be performing his headline set with his and who sound brilliant 😎 we’re really looking forward to this one, we’ve got support from Casinos Pat Gallagher and Laura Farrow – definitely not one to miss out on!

we’ll be back over at the Grafton for this on the Saturday 26th February, starting up at 7:30pm. gonna be a class one, one of our favourite venues in Manchester with great award-winning bevs, lovely atmosphere and just a proper lovely pub! find out more at our event Bread Records Present: Nat Dempsey + Supports 🍞

oh we had a fantastic time on Saturday for our first gig over at the Grafton Arms! ☀️

a big thank you to our artists Tay Temple Olivia Browse Nina Ettridge and Laura Farrow for performing for us, each of them smashed it and played brilliant sets 🥰 so great to see an audience supporting original live music too, what a top one! also a big shout to Max for taking such boss photos of everyone, so made up! 🤘

we’ll be back next month with yet another gig, watch this space for not only this songwriter gig but more things to come.. got lots planned, collaborative gigs, band stuff – it’s all coming up! 🍞

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Cliché Cult “Say It Like You Mean It”, out this coming Friday 28th January ☀️

the Leeds-based alternative rockers have released a flurry of fantastic singles over the past year or two, and this is their first release of 2022 – they’ve had some fantastic tunes out in the past which have really set them as ones to watch in Yorkshire! 😎

this new tune “Say It Like You Mean It” is a proper belter, with lovely guitar riffs driving the track forward, chorusey and ambient melodies throughout and boss vocal ability throughout, paired with lovely lyricism – it’s a real class tune to not miss out on if you’re a fan of indie, alternative or post-punk bands 🤘

we’re huge fans of the ending to the track, building and building keeping you in a state of suspense as the tune unravels and opens up – and the way that the bass and drums maintain the groove of the track whilst holding their own is class! 🎸 a real well-crafted song, great to see this calibre of stuff coming out.
