Here’s our twelfth episode of Grain Radio! ✊
We’ve got some absolutely incredible music from the local scene here in and around Manchester! A big thank you to each of the artists for contributing their music 🙂
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new EP by Audrey’s Dance ‘Fag Ash Lil’!
Audrey’s Dance are a two-piece pop-indie outfit from Preston and we love the EP! It gives us a real feeling of binding Kate Bush with a more gritty, indie atmosphere that creates a lovely EP – definitely worth checking out. This song we’ve featured is the title track, but we really enjoyed the entirety of it!
we love that these are sister releases, having being released on the same day – we even did this with michael’s first single and The Northern Rambler’s first single, 7th March (albiet different years)
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the fantastic new single from Mr. Matthew Fisher, ‘Micky’!
on the back of the success of his first single ‘Antenna Blame’ (which we featured last year) Matthew is back with his new single ‘Micky’ out on this Friday 8th January!
you can pre-save it here – https://ffm.to/micky the tune sounds class and is a real indie pop banger that’ll get stuck in your head! definitely worth checking out!
we’ve just made up two playlists with all the music we had for our Just The Crust and Grain Radio features this year!
there’s a whole bunch of music in these ones, and a load of local artists (way too many to tag!) but a big thank you to them for letting us feature their music!
there’s a few more over there too if you fancy checking them out! hopefully 2021 will be packed with more gigs, features and great local music for you all to check out!
just a quick one before the new year comes in – we’re always on the lookout for new local music to feature if you’ve got an upcoming release, or fancy getting involved with us, then just drop us an email at michael@breadrecords.co.uk
we do a lot of features on the regular and once we’re allowed again, we’ll be right back to gigs
