Tom is a singer-songwriter based here in Manchester, performing his originals and covers – we love his energetic performances, with beautiful guitarwork and just all round great energy! 
we can’t wait to catch a full set from him!
we’re still going ahead as per usual with Minervadaisy Scatterchild Dr Fabola Olivia Browse and michael webster so it’s sure to be an absolutely fantastic event! 1-5pm, Saturday 7th August (free entry!!!)

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Elizabeth Owens, “Receiver”!
blending atmospheric sounds, with lovely synths, and vocal stylings similar to that of Kate Bush, Caroline Polachek, Eli has really created a truly unique sound for themselves – we absolutely love what they are doing and all of their songs are simply beautiful! 
the production work on this song is sublime and really entrances the listener in. super great!
this song is part of their up-coming album, “Knock Knock”, an album which is “told in three acts, the record explores themes of sobriety, ego deconstruction, and spiritual materialism” – how insane does this sound? we can not WAIT to hear it.

Dr Fabola’s tunes are laidback, relaxed and simply beautiful – such a prolific songwriter with some absolutely amazing songs! his guitar playing is so delicate and intricate, really inviting the listener into his headspace

Cream of the Crop: THE RETURN! is A WEEK ON SATURDAY! we can not wait for our return to gigs – the open mics have been really fantastic as of late and we can not wait to see how these gigs turn out!
we will have the fantastic Scatterchild performing for us – we’ve covered their music a few times in the past and we’re really looking forward to their set! they’re a indie rock band with such a strong discography out, ranging from full on bangers to more serene and calming tunes (i.e. their last song, “No Sense To End”!)

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from The Rotanas “Get The Call”!
based down in Cardiff, The Rotanas are an energetic britpop band who have been on the rise for a few years now – they’ve got a great discography now and have been headlining stages and even did a headline tour back in 2019
when we heard this new single we defo knew we wanted to feature it – with a real 90’s atmosphere to it, it fills you with a proper sense of nostalgia for those older times we love the guitar riffs throughout, you can tell that these guys are gonna be huge!
