we can’t wait for this one, we’re huge fans of Jane’s music and her songwriting ability is second to none – plus, she’ll be performing alongside her band. it’s gonna be incredible! we’ve also got support from the fantastic Nina Ettridge Cam McColl and Kyletoolanmusic!

we had such a fantastic one down at Lions Den Manchester for Harrison Rimmer and Sally Pepper‘s co-headline tour on Friday

they absolutely smashed their sets, brilliant stuff from all including our supports Olivia Browse IsaacNeilson and michael webster we had a lovely turnout too, so great to see. we love the lil community we have around us, it’s such a supportive environment with so much talent involved

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new release from the Manchester grunge outfit Mort Jardin “Dead Season“!

we’ve covered these guy’s previous releases a bunch now and we love their melodic, grungey tones that are present all the way through their tunes. their previous releases really set the tone for their music with introspective lyricism, monotonous vocals that really set the mood for their music.

this latest release sees them open up their sound somewhat, with some less distortion-y backdrops, yet still maintaining their original sound with huge guitar solos throughout and a real tight rhythmic background to tie the songs together! this is some of their best work yet, you can see the evolution of the band through their releases and this is well worth a listen for any fans of alternative and heavier tunes.

we had a real lovely one over at The Lass O’Gowrie on Saturday for Bread Fest

it was fantastic to be back there, the pub looks proper gorgeous and it’s got one of the best atmospheres – plus, Thomas Rennie Zakia Ayanam Udoma Music Remel and Johnny Braddock all performed brilliant sets for us! big love to them for performing for us.

we’ll be back down there tonight for the return of our weekly open mic hosted by michael webster – 7:30pm start!
