our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Got To Lose” by Burnley-based indie outfit The Stride! ๐
following the release of their single “Hold On” last year, the band have gone from strength to strength, performing across the North West and beyond, taking their indie rock tunes with them and astounding audiences – reminiscent of 90’s Manchester vibes ๐ฅ
this new single opens up with a nostalgic guitar progression, backed with a real tight rhythm section that holds it together, giving plenty of room for the lead guitar melody to flow over the top – and the main vocal takes command immediately, it’s a real indie anthemic vibe to it with a singalong chorus and with a proper stadium rock feel ๐
we’re delighted to announce the next single out on the label – “I Need To Swim (Demo)” from Eyam!
the second offering from our favourite bard, following his debut in January – this new track is a gorgeous, intimate track with Eyam’s signature quality lyrical ability present throughout, we’re super proud to get this one out
raising funds for “GREY” the musical to go to the Edinburgh Fringe, it’s bound to be a stellar one, with live music, poetry and performances from the musical – we can’t wait! 6:30pm doors
