our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Luna Marble “Begging Mercy“! ๐
we’ve been massive fans of Luna Marble for a long time now, having caught them performing live multiple times, having them perform for us and we love their previous tracks that they’ve put out, and reviewed a bunch of them! ๐
this new single only further encapsulates their talent, their motivation and determination – it continues fully within their old school rock and roll vibes, mixing influences from across the musical spectrum, with blues riffs, grungey tones and Maria’s powerful and commanding vocal taking control of the track, perfectly balancing to Dragos’ signature guitarwork. there’s a gorgeous dynamic within this song, balancing calm and atmospheric elements to the heavy, wall of sound distortion that is present in the chorus – it’s another well-crafted tune from them and well worth checking out! ๐ถ
you can find the single in full on all streaming platforms, and there’s a music video available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMNuhyGEo5Y – give it a watch! ๐ค

our feature for today’s Just The Crust feature is the brand new debut single from Robin Cooper, “Single As You Can Get“!
the Leeds-based songwriter has been making music for a good while in other bands, but this is his first solo offering, mixing indie-rock influences with country-esque styling, bringing various different genres together to create something fresh and exciting
the single sounds fantastic, a real blend of country rock, entwined with tongue in cheek lyricism, there’s a real high energy to the tune that set its apart as a fantastic debut and one to keep an eye on for the future. there’s a luscious bluesy guitar solo too, which only adds even further to the track
