doors at 6pm, it’s free entry – come on down and catch some great Manchester musicians doing their thing! keep your eyes peeled for some collaborations on michael’s set too…
it’s nearly been two months since the release of our very own michael webster‘s new EP “a northern perspective”
we’ve had such a great response to this with a looooad of people buying CDs, streaming the music and our EP launch at the Grafton Arms back in December was insane. big love to everyone for supporting it
if you’ve not heard it yet, it’s available on all streaming sites and there’s even a music video for “waterlines” over at https://youtu.be/2DWjDPo3jIg
it’s been super lovely getting so much positive feedback on it, plus our launch night was unreal and plus we even have CDs for sale for it as well over on our Bandcamp! a big thank you to everyone who’s checked it out in it’s 30 minute entirety
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new tune from our very ownย michael websterย “waterlines“, taken from his EP “a northern perspective“!ย
the first single from the new EP, “waterlines” is a hard-hitting alternative rock tune about the difficulty of indecision set to a background of 90s’ grunge-inspired alternative rock. it’s a tune that you will have heard if you’ve been to any of his shows, having had it in the set for the past few years and finally putting it out in a studio versionย
with a chorus of “i wanna stay in, but i wanna go out.. just another dilemma of the nineties’ crowd”, it’s an introspective and bleak outlook at the state of 20-odd year olds today, those who yearn for a life of adventure yet also want to take time to bask in the solitude of their comfort. it’s one of our favourites from the new EP!
you can find the full music video over on YouTube at https://youtu.be/2DWjDPo3jIg – plus, the EP in it’s entirety of seven tracks is available on all the streaming sites too!
