we covered his last single earlier in the year, and his intimate and delicate songwriting capability really sets him as a standout storyteller – and he’s been doing super well over the past few years, writing songs and performing them across venues all over! 👊
this new single “The Spark” sounds incredible, a real testament to his musical ability – opening up with a luscious soundscape, with a gorgeous atmosphere, the instrumentation working in perfect unison to give so much space for Kilpatrick’s silky vocal to take command – and his down-to-earth and relatable lyrics capturing the attention, a tale of romance and attraction. the track flows so well, almost dream-like, and it’s a proper show of the quality production and musicality put into this tune. well worth a listen! 😊

this Thursday 3rd we’re down at the Eagle Inn for our next issue of “The Monthly Spread“, with an amazing lineup with Matt Hooper, Narwhals, Jessica Dives, Madeline Thorp, Jack Hamilton and michael webster – 7pm start, and only a fiver in! 
on the Saturday 12th we’re hosting the album release show at the Eagle Inn for Abi Til, a stellar one in store for us with a full headline set from Abi alongside the Underground Folk Collective, and support from St Cloud and Fionnuala Bradbury – we can’t wait for this, it’s going to be a special night 🌙
then we’re back on over at the Eagle Inn for a final time this month on the Thursday 19th, for our next “BAKED” band night – more information to come this week, but we’ve got a fantastic lineup shaping up for us! we’ll be starting up at 7:30pm and it’s sure to be a mega one
