with so many amazing artists gracing the stage for us, so many lovely intimate performances from the best of what Manchester has to offer – we love to see it, and super grateful for everyone who’s both performed and supported the nights 🎶

on the Thursday 6th, we’re down at the Eagle Inn for our next issue of “The Monthly Spread“, and we’ve got an incredible one in store with Luke Hart & Company, Eyam, Lonely Mountain, The Dove & The Dragon, Abi Til and michael webster – 7pm start, and only a fiver in! 
then we’re back on over at the Eagle Inn again on the Thursday 20th, for our third “BAKED” band night – with the incredible Mr. Fish, Toenails and Overdrive performing for us! we’ll be starting up at 7:30pm and it’s bound to be a fantastic one 
plus, with all of our open mic nights at Rewind NQ, Flour & Flagon, Grafton Arms, Peaky Blinders Manchester and The Dockyard – there’s plenty to get involved with, just get in touch with our michael webster for slots 
and finally gigs for our michael webster and Eyam at “The Monthly Spread“, and a support slot for Eyam at The Old Monkey supporting David Dondero + Tim Holehouse for Third Summer Music on the Saturday 8th March! can’t wait for these 
it’s been a whole month since “Jenny” by Eyam was released! 🌙
since then, we’ve had over 4000 streams on all streaming platforms, a bunch of sales on Bandcamp for it, a superb launch gig down at The Castle Hotel and such a lovely reception from people about the track – we love to see it! 👊

our first two have been so superb, with a great turnout for each one, and we’ve got yet another incredible lineup in store for us, with the amazing talents of Mr. Fish, Toenails, and Overdrive performing for us 🤝

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Smalltown Love Song” from Sura Laynes! 👊
the Derby-based indie rock band have put out a strong collection of singles already, and with having performed a whole bunch of gigs in the local area, they’ve really made their mark on the scene as ones to watch 🤘
this new single sounds fantastic, there’s echoes of various influence in it, ranging from Jesus and The Mary Chain, to more anthemic indie rock acts like Oasis, and there’s a lovely groove behind the track, a moody backdrop that sets the tone for Walsh’s vocals to really take command of the tune. the drums and bass create a luscious atmosphere, and the droney guitarwork gives us a real 90’s alternative feel, and the lyrics paint an incredible portrait of love and romance – it’s a brilliant listen! 🎧

we had an incredible time on Thursday at the Eagle Inn for our latest “BAKED” band night 
a massive shout out to everyone who made it down, great to see such a lovely audience enjoying themselves – and our acts BARDS Moss Valley Novacane and Old Sun, New Moon were unreal, amazing sets from them all! 
a brilliant show of the talent here in Manchester
