our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from MILLICENT – ‘conversationconservation’! 
we’ve known MILLICENT for a long time now and we’re absolutely blown away by this single. Produced by Mad Fox – the track really captures MILLICENT’s musical energy and provides a fantastic insight into the world that she lives in. The almost ethereal background of the track really gives a drive like no other to MILLICENT’s vocal, which sounds heavenly 
‘conversationconservation’ was written around the topic of mental health, and all proceeds will be generously donated to MindYoungMinds and We are Hummingbird – so make sure you head over to Bandcamp at https://officiallymillicent.bandcamp.com/ to purchase the single and raise money for these fantastic causes!

we first heard Jess’s music back last year, and we instantly loved it! after the release of her last single ‘Television Mister’, she’s back in 2021 with another absolute tune! 
‘Nice Try’ blends Jess’s singer-songwriter lyricism with an indie-rock sound (even with a touch of surf rock-esque riffs!), complete with full band – sounds absolutely incredible. definitely one to watch for this year!

we’re back with our second Cream of the Crop of the year
bit of a late post for us, but we wanted to get these out sooner rather than later in lieu of the monthly songwriter gig we do at The Thirsty Scholar, we’ve got this virtual one for you!
