we’re back with our next Fresh Batch livestream, with the talents of indefinite articles!
having played across the Manchester scene for a few years now, Joseph has created a lovely space where he hosts open mics, gigs and the such for indie and diy artists – a real unsung hero of Manchester music.
his folk punk songwriting style is contagious, with catchy songs and serious lyricism that are just fantastic to watch live! find his latest EP ‘do remember they can’t cancel spring’ over on Bandcamp at https://indefinitearticles.bandcamp.com/ – definitely worth a listen!
this is gonna be a real lovely one in the run up to when we’re allowed back outside again – don’t miss out find the event over on Facebook at Fresh Batch: indefinite articles!
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from WHITE NOISE, ‘Mind’s Eye’!
Off the back of their debut single last year, WHITE NOISE are back with another hard-hitting tune! “Mind’s Eye” is a real great tune, balancing heavy riffs with prolific songwriting and serious drive to the tune! A real classic windows down low, driving through the countryside and taking in the scenery track.
We love the little synths that are in the track (beautiful tones!) and with a real flowing chorus, this is definitely not a track to miss out on! Go and check it out over at https://open.spotify.com/track/2lL55EPPYrsypSSgfjZmQJ? we can’t wait to see what else they’ve got in store!
callout to any artists, bands, musicians.. if you’re releasing any new music, let us know! we’re always down to help out with promotion and feature local musicians on our features.

our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from CECIL – “NOMAD”!
blending elements of 90’s hiphop with modern psychedelic rock riffs, NOMAD is CECIL’s second single of the year – with a whole bunch of releases planned for the near future! this song expertly blends so many genres, from jazz to psychedelia to songwriter to even classical elements… it’s got them all in there! a real mellow atmosphere to this track, kinda makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud away from all the craziness that is in the world at the moment.
in his own words, “NOMAN is a reaction to looking into the mirror; the dichotomy of personal desires at the beginning of the day and at the end..” we can’t wait to hear even more from CECIL in the future – and we’re really looking forward to seeing this live! (soon enough, hopefully!)
