only two days until our next Fresh Batch livestream, this time with the lovely sounds of indefinite articles!
this is gonna be a super lovely one, we can’t wait to hear some great folk-punk music, with Joseph’s top originals and covers – find his music over on Bandcamp at https://indefinitearticles.bandcamp.com/ ! (check out Three Years, one of our faves!)
okay we are absolutely delighted to say we’ve got a couple of tapes from The Cosmonaut Cassettes over in the US, for their debut album ’47’!
they released ’47’ last year, a folk-rock concept album surrounding the mysteries of the lost ‘Cosmonaut Cassettes’. we love this album, some absolutely unreal storytelling and a super lovely piece of work. we can’t wait to hear even more stuff in the future!
if you fancy one of these super limited-run tapes, then head over to our Bandcamp page at www.breadrecords.bandcamp.com/merch !! we’re stoked to be able to help them out with UK/EU distribution of tapes.
if you would like to purchase the album in a digital format, then please head over to The Cosmonaut Cassettes’ original release at https://thecosmonautcassettes.bandcamp.com/album/47 where you’ll be able to support them directly!
we’re still super stoked that we got ALL of these releases out in 2020! so many songs across all of these, definitely worth checking out
we have such a lovely Bread family here.. keep your eyes peeled for even MORE stuff this year! drop michael webster and Adam Carpenter Music a like whilst you’re here as well.
with all the news of reopening the UK, you’re sure we’ll be back out there soon enough. we can’t wait for the day when we can celebrate music again, with a lovely cold pint in hand
we’re back with our next Fresh Batch livestream, with the talents of indefinite articles!
having played across the Manchester scene for a few years now, Joseph has created a lovely space where he hosts open mics, gigs and the such for indie and diy artists – a real unsung hero of Manchester music.
his folk punk songwriting style is contagious, with catchy songs and serious lyricism that are just fantastic to watch live! find his latest EP ‘do remember they can’t cancel spring’ over on Bandcamp at https://indefinitearticles.bandcamp.com/ – definitely worth a listen!
this is gonna be a real lovely one in the run up to when we’re allowed back outside again – don’t miss out find the event over on Facebook at Fresh Batch: indefinite articles!
our feature for this week’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from WHITE NOISE, ‘Mind’s Eye’!
Off the back of their debut single last year, WHITE NOISE are back with another hard-hitting tune! “Mind’s Eye” is a real great tune, balancing heavy riffs with prolific songwriting and serious drive to the tune! A real classic windows down low, driving through the countryside and taking in the scenery track.
We love the little synths that are in the track (beautiful tones!) and with a real flowing chorus, this is definitely not a track to miss out on! Go and check it out over at https://open.spotify.com/track/2lL55EPPYrsypSSgfjZmQJ? we can’t wait to see what else they’ve got in store!
callout to any artists, bands, musicians.. if you’re releasing any new music, let us know! we’re always down to help out with promotion and feature local musicians on our features.
we’ve been doing our online features now for around a year, and it’s super lovely to see just how many songs/releases we’ve featured over the pandemic!
we are mostly looking for folk/indie/alternative/singer-songwriters, but anything is considered! just get in touch at michael@breadrecords.co.uk
we also put on livestreams and in the future, more gigs! so keep an eye out
