the brand new music video for “Bleep Test” by Scatterchild is out now! ๐จ
a gorgeous visual representation of the single, we love how it turned out – one of our favourites yet! a huge shout out to everyone involved, and to Rec Productions for shooting it. ๐
our very ownย Olivia Browseย put out her single “Calendar Girl” two years ago today ๐๏ธโฅ๏ธ
a proper bubblegum pop banger, this was stuck in our heads for so long – such a tune. produced by @keepshtum and featuring @szoumusicuk – a slight variation to the kinda music we usually put out but we love it nonetheless! ๐ถ
you can find it on all streaming sites or you can find the full music video on YouTube atย https://youtu.be/SuOnRZzGucMย – check it out ๐
the music video for “future sight” from our very own michael webster has been out for a full month now
a big thank you to everyone who’s checked it out, we’re at over 1.3k views for it now! if you’ve not seen it you can have a gander on YouTube at https://youtu.be/VhAM8R9pr7k – full of nature + a contrasting cityscape.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Manchester indie-rock outfit VALA “Don’t Think Twice (It’s Not Alright)!
we’ve been huge fans of these guys, with a fantastic back catalogue already behind them, they’ve made waves over the past few years in the North West, and they just played a headline gig over at The Deaf Institute
this new tune here only continues with their quality signature sound, woven sonic atmospheres drowned in ambience and laced with image-inducing songwriting and down to earth lyricism. it’s a gorgeous track, and as it opens up in the chorus it’s not only a great parallel to the calmness of the first verse, but brings you into a lovely catchy hook – one that we can imagine would be amazing live. we’re huge fans of the bridge too, what a buildup to the pre-chorus at the end.. some fantastic production on this tune as well.ย
you can find it on all streaming sites, or you can check out the full video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/tdtIc1wR9pQ – well worth a watch!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new single fromย Craig Lee and the Humblebeesย “Built Onย Bones“!ย
we’ve covered Craig’s music in the past and we’re huge fans of his tunes – upbeat, catchy and nostalgic for old school rock and roll feels, he’s got a real unique sound that you can tell he’s put time and effort into crafting.ย
this new single “Built On Bones” only furthers his talent, with a real feel-good vibe from the get-go, opening up real mellow and calm as it opens up to a lovely chorus that feels super full with steady drums, driving bass and a real catchy hook that’ll have audiences singing along in no time. the track flows along so well, with a proper groove behind it, Craig’s vocal gliding over the instrumentation super well. it’s amassed nearly 7k streams so far, incredible to see and very well deserved!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Blue Orchid Reaction “Personal Revolution”!
we’re a big fan of these lads and they’ve been putting out continuously fantastic release after release over the past few years and this is yet another standout single from them! we even may have a lineup that they’re playing but not too much about that yet
this new single sounds brilliant, they’ve stayed true to their signature sound that we’re used to – really loving the opening bassline and groove to the track, pushes it along so well and the guitar tones are super luscious. as it opens up towards the chorus the build is great, and it erupts with such intensity into the hook, brilliant to hear from these guys!
if you like what you hear you can find the single on all streaming sites, or check out the full music video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/cM4ZSMTfTbY well worth a watch, these guys are great!
