we had a well lovely one last night with Louis Phillips Charlotte Mary and Boxes down at The English Lounge last night for Freshly Sliced!

Louis started us off with a lovely acoustic chilled out set, some beautiful guitarwork from him and then we were followed up with Charotte’s amazing Americana tunes, accompanied by her stompbox which really brought a lovely atmosphere to her tracks (she played Man Up too, one of our favourites!) and then we finished up with David from Boxes who played us a lovely few covers, alongside some of Boxes’ beautiful songs – fantastic stuff last night!

we’ll be back down next Friday 8pm with our next event – more details to come soon, keep your eyes out on our socials for more info!

we’re down at The English Lounge tonight for our next Freshly Sliced gig

super looking forward to this one, we’ve got music from Louis Phillips Charlotte Mary and the amazing Boxes! it’s gonna be a proper top one tonight with so much talent performing!

just a little update on our releases as of late.. we’ve been so focused on the live stuff and it’s all going so well!

however, we just wanted to say that our EP with Anyone’s Ghost is at over 12,500 streams!! how on earth!? we’re so grateful for everyone who has taken the time to listen to it.. we’re so proud of what michael webster and Wanda produced and it’s lush to see you all loving it!

also, with the releases this year from michael and Olivia Browse we’re actually at a grand total of 22k streams. how fantastic is that!! a big shout out to all our fantastic artists

Granfalloon – Positive Songs Teaser / Review ☀️

we’ve had a few technical issues today for our usual feature but not to worry, we’ll have it sorted for you this week!

in the meantime, we just wanted to highlight one of the top releases lately, Granfalloon‘s new album ‘Positive Songs’! we’ve featured a fair few of his tunes on the label but he’s put them all out on this album and it’s top!

think Beck, mixed with a bit of indie singer-songwriter magic with a dash of psychedelia – absolutely top stuff from songwriter Lomax. it’s well worth a listen! his lovely songwriting style with backing band behind him really takes his music to a new level, and it’s a real insight into the life of the creative. after the release of his second album ‘RGB’, Lomax was ready to hit up Europe on tours, had plenty of merch done, and suddenly a global pandemic hit.. this was the result of a weekly positive song-focused songwriting challenge he undertook! absolutely inspirational stuff!

it’s not even BEEN A WEEK and Olivia Browse‘s new tune ‘Calendar Girl’ featuring Szou has already hit 2.1k plays over on Spotify

we can’t believe how well this has done!! it’s such an absolute banger and we’re so made up for Liv and Szou and Shtum on production for making such a class tune that people are proper loving! so great to have such amazing artists and music on the label!
