our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from the amazing Bonfire Tide “Every Terrible Thing“!
they’ve been making waves this year, having just performed at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton last weekend, releasing their first single of 2023 “The Old Boys” and they’ve got a gig on this coming Friday supporting the amazing James Holt at Sacred Trinity Church!
this new single sounds incredible, opening up with a gorgeous tapestry of sound that we’ve come to expect with their music – David’s main vocal sounds absolutely gorgeous over the track, his ability to control the softer aspects and then belt it out when necessary marks him as an exceptional vocalist. the soundscape behind him through the instrumentation is incredible, you can really hear the craft and effort put in by the band to really create something special.
this is one of our favourite ones by them yet, and we can’t wait to hear more – you can find the music video in full over on YouTube at https://youtu.be/jy4DB7mm5cE or it’s on all the streaming platforms to listen! well worth checking out
tonight’s the night! we’re down at The Castle Hotel for our birthday headline with the amazing Tay Temple
we’ve been waiting on this one for a while and it’s finally here – it’s gonna be mega, with support from the amazing talents of Hannah Robinson Millie Milner & The Deadnames and Blondine definitely not one to miss out on!

“more than I care to admit”, the second single from Anyone’s Ghost upcoming album is out on the 27th of May
we’re super proud to have these coming out on the label, it sounds fantastic – we’ll be seeing it in with our mini-festival Breadstock 2023 on the 26th May at the Grafton Arms a huge thank you to Isabel Williamson for contributing cello to this track, a perfect addition
the music video for “future sight” from our very own michael webster has been out for a full month now
a big thank you to everyone who’s checked it out, we’re at over 1.3k views for it now! if you’ve not seen it you can have a gander on YouTube at https://youtu.be/VhAM8R9pr7k – full of nature + a contrasting cityscape.
with a bunch of t-shirts and CDs already there, we’ve also got plans for even more – it’s one of the best ways to support an independent label such as ourselves big shout to everyone who’s already bought something, and if you haven’t yet, check it out!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Bound In Chains” from the Birmingham-based songwriter Aurora Rays
right from the get-go, the track invites you in with a calm and steady piano melody, creating a sense of ease for Aurora’s vocal to sit perfectly above. her vocal capabilities are on full show here, sounding incredible – and as the track opens up into the chorus, the drums give it a real feel of urgency, complimenting the lyrical content here super well. in the latter part of the track, there’s a real gorgeous show of all the instrumentation working in tandem with one another to reflect the ferocity of the song, with a huge final chorus and a beautiful conclusion at the end.
