just a little shout out today for our good pal Harrison Rimmer who will be releasing his brand new album “Larkholme” this coming Friday! ☀️

Harrison’s one of our favourite songwriters and performers and he’s a proper lovely chap – the singles we’ve heard off the album have sounded super amazing and we can’t wait to hear the full thing 🤘 one of the hardest working musicians we know so well deserves a lil post! 😊

he’s over at The Fulford Arms in York on Friday for the launch – with support from the brilliant Luna Kiss Lyon Estates No Como Crees and Chloe Glover it’s gonna be mental. we’ll be down for a lil trip out of the North West! 🍞

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Harrison Rimmer “The End”! 🎸

yet another fantastic release from Harrison, a great friend of the label here and such a brilliant musician with so much energy and drive, an inspiration for us here on the scene! 😊 we’ve seen him live a fair few times over the last few months and every single time he smashes it, one to definitely catch at a gig!

this new single delves into more of the punk and metal inspiration for him, with driving riffs, angry and powerful vocals and just such a drive behind the track, really hammering home that he’s here to rock and roll 🤘 the chorus sounds so massive and great lyricism all the way through as we’ve got used to with Harrison’s songs!!

we’re huge fans of the outro and breakdown in this track too – moving away from the other folky rock tunes, going into almost metal with drum fills all over, melodic power chords building up and harmonic notes pulled out of nowhere.. it’s brilliant! 🏵 a real indication of Harrison’s diverse talent, going from folky singer songwriter vibes to full on punk and metal madness. what a talent!

Harrison has been one of our biggest supporters for a long time and played many of our virtual open mics every single week, and we’re absolutely buzzing to actually be able to show you an exclusive sneak peek at this lovely music video he’s made up! 🤘

“The Travelist” sounds absolutely huge, with the punk rock overtones we’re so used to him doing and fantastic songwriting – Harrison’s vocals in this are out of this world as well. it’s a real class tune about his need to get out there and do it 🌮 something we can completely relate to!
