the Manchester-based midwest-emo outfit have been on the scene for a good while now, and they released their debut single earlier last year – a great first tune for them! 👊
this new single “L.A.” follows on from the success of their debut, and with signature melodic guitar riffs, powerful and driving rhythm, accompanied by expert lyricism and fierce vocal delivery, it’s a real banger – their use of dynamic within their music compliments the songwriting style superbly, giving a real sense of flow to the track. it’s a great listen and a must for any fans of alternative indie/emo 🌙

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new re-released single “Life” from Mistrustmusic
the Bolton-based darkwave/synth artist has been making music for a good while now, and has a plethora of great releases under his belt, making a name for himself as a quality producer and songwriter
this track “life” is about homelessness, raising awareness of the homeless across the UK, with a driving, ethereal soundscape behind the track, and his ability to create an atmosphere within his tracks is excellent, utilising a variety of sounds and synths to craft a unique experience – plus, with direct, raw lyricism, he’s able to paint a picture with his music expertly.
