the Manchester-based three-piece rock and roll band have been tearing it up across the city, performing a bunch and their high energy tunes have a real infectious groove to them, it’s sure to be a fantastic night of music, with additional support from Bobrats!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Never Looked At Me That Way” from Dreaming of Citra! 🎶
we’ve covered these guys’ previous singles and we love their indie-rock/dream-pop esque style, with luscious melodies throughout their music and infectious hooks, and they’ve been gigging across Manchester a bunch, with a headline show next at YES in June! 👊
this new single sounds fantastic, with a lovely atmospheric sound right from the get-go, with driving rhythm forming the foundation of the track, allowing for the guitar riff to soar expertly above it, and the main vocal takes command, ensuring the listener is hanging on every word, and it’s a real personal yet adeptly written track, with raw emotion in every lyric but also maintaining a singalong chorus. we especially love the middle eight build into the final chorus, a real slow build that works exceptionally – it’s a fantastic listen! 🌙
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Noah” from Lost Lot! 🎶
the indie-rock outfit have been making their mark on the North-East music scene for a good while now, performing at a bunch of venues and they’ve put out a great run of singles and an EP over the past few years 👊
this new single “Noah” sounds fantastic, it opens up with a luscious guitar and piano melody that compliment each other excellently, forming a lovely soundscape for the main vocal to take centre-stage and ensure the listener is hanging onto every word. it’s a picturesque song, with fantastic imagery within the lyrics and has a real sentimental feeling to it – every element of the track contributes to the feel and there’s a proper groove behind it. an incredible listen! 🎶
On The Irwell returns to The Old Pint Pot on March 28th, with an eclectic lineup of some of the brightest up and coming talent that Manchester has to offer.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the new single from Motel Sundown “Watch Which Way The Wind Blows“! 💫
we’ve covered Motel Sundown’s tracks a bunch in the past and we’re always blown away by their talent, their ability to create a gorgeous atmosphere in their music and how they’re able to write intricate and interesting melodies and lyrics 🎶
the Liverpool-based trio have returned with this new single, and it sounds absolutely incredible – opening with a gorgeous guitar melody that is perfectly complimented by the violinwork, and giving plenty of room for the main vocal to shine. the track feels dreamy and flows effortlessly, and the rhythm is soft yet brings a real sense of groove to the song – and as always, gorgeous vocal harmonies; and luscious lead riffs from the guitar and violin which really give an upbeat lift to the middle section. yet another incredible track under their belts 🌙
