we can’t wait for this Friday down at the Eagle Inn for our first “BAKED” band night
we’ve enlisted the incredible talents of ByWednesdayFrank & The Beats and The Hearse for this one, and it’s an incredible lineup – some of Manchester’s finest up-and-coming bands performing for us
we’ll be starting up at 7:30pm, you can get tickets over on Fatsoma at https://fatso.ma/06Fl
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Ramellos, “Heedless Hearts“! π
this is their debut offering, it’s a fantastic tune, sounding superb – they’ve had a bunch of shows up in the North East and this tune proper shows off their talent. it’s a lovely indie-rock banger, with intricate and raw lyricism, there’s an incredible flow to the track, with a luscious long extended intro, that drops into the main chorus expertly, and then only becomes bigger and bigger throughout the song, a real lovely progression within it π
with the drums and bass providing a gorgeous backdrop, and the guitar laying down a luscious melody, lead riffs circling the soundscape, there’s plenty of space for the vocal to take charge and ensure the listener’s attention – a fantastic debut from the band! π€
with music from the incredible Narwhals, Olivia Browse and Scatterchild, we put out six singles, an EP and a full album – we’re super proud of these and grateful for all the lovely reception they got
we’ve got even more planned for this year – here’s to 2025!
then on the Friday 17th of January we’re back at the Eagle Inn for our brand new alternative band night “BAKED” – starting up strong with the amazing ByWednesday, Frank & The Beats, and The Hearse on the bill – 7:30 start, we can’t wait for these π
our final gig of January is on the Saturday 25th at The Castle Hotel for a headline show by our very own Eyam – following the release of his debut single “Jenny” on the label, the day before! with support from Wanda Roslyn and Family Tree, we’ve got a super special one in store π
we’re absolutely made up to be able to announce the first of our brand new band nights down at the Eagle Inn – “BAKED”
for our first show, on the Friday 17th of January, we’ve enlisted the incredible talents of ByWednesdayFrank & The Beats and The Hearse – some of Manchester’s finest talent playing for us!

we’ve just compiled all of the tracks from our Just The Crust reviews into one big 2024 playlist
there’s been so many, a brilliant range of music and it’s been a pleasure to write all these up – a fantastic indication of the talent in the local scene! a huge shout out to everyone who has sent us music for review
we’ll be starting up at 7:30pm, with full sets from each act, great drinks on offer, taking cash + card donations for the charity – all for a fantastic cause
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Creature” from Moss Valley π€
their second offering, we loved their previous debut “Beyond“, which was an explosive and fierce introduction to the band – and when we had them perform for us, we were astounded by their stage presence and musical prowess! a must-see band π₯
this new single continues with their grungey sounds of the debut, yet with a more fast-paced, punky atmosphere – a real powerful guitar line forming the foundation of the track, with massive rhythm from the bass and drums working in perfect unison to provide a driving groove to the tune, leaving plenty of space for lead singer Zara’s vocal to take charge π and with expert lyricism, depicting the story of a being that attempts to go against the grain, told in a well-woven tale π
