having been a strong presence on the Manchester scene for a while now, with shows at Manchester Academy, Rose & Monkey and more – they’ve established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, and their debut single only proves this even further. 👊

with high-octane, energetic ferocity throughout the whole track, and lead singer Quentin commanding the space with his powerful yet dynamic, intimate at times, vocals – lending the listener to hang onto his every word. there’s a real influence of blues in their music, but matched with no-nonsense rock and roll, they’ve truly created something that is unique yet so familiar and enticing to anyone who listens to their music. well worth a listen! 🎧

ahead of our first The Slice event of 2024 at the Grafton Arms this coming Saturday, we’ve made a lil reel of some of our ones last year – we had so so many incredible artists perform for us and we raised loads for The Christie Charity with Joseph Holt 🍕

this Saturday we make our return with feature sets from the amazing talents of Fat Man’s Corner Tame and Harrison Rimmer 🙌 we’re proper looking forward to it!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Souza “Endless Fountain“! 🙌

the Stoke-based alternative rock outfit have been putting out a quality flow of releases over the past few years, we’ve covered a bunch of them and we’re always blown away by the talent on show in their music, quality stuff 🤘

this new single maintains their indie-rock feel of their previous single “Morning Calling“, with an upbeat, feel-good jangly chord progression leading the track, and a tight rhythm section laying the foundation of the song – giving a bunch of room for Adam’s lead vocal to flow over. the track has a proper groove behind it, and the lead guitar licks cement the track together, creating a gorgeous atmosphere. it’s another fantastic release under their belt, well worth a listen! ☀️
