our very own Olivia Browse put out her single “Calendar Girl” two years ago today 🗓️♥️
a proper bubblegum pop banger, this was stuck in our heads for so long – such a tune. produced by @keepshtum and featuring @szoumusicuk – a slight variation to the kinda music we usually put out but we love it nonetheless! 🎶
you can find it on all streaming sites or you can find the full music video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/SuOnRZzGucM – check it out 🍞
today’s the day! we’re over down at Cultplex for our headline show with our very own Anyone’s Ghost
we’ve had this in the works for so long and it’s finally here, it’s going to be such a special night with music from the band, support from Georgia JohnsonMathew Kerry and Rose Oleria – plus with a lovely visual backdrop and poetry from Rosario Lynas
we’re super stoked to be able to bring Will Walton to the Grafton Arms for a special EP launch gig in November
performing for us with a full band setup, Will brings sadgirl anthems to the table, with unflinchingly honest lyrical ability – with inspiration from artists such as The National and Phoebe Bridgers. support from Werking Them’s Club too, it’s gonna be a real lovely night.
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from PHIA SKY “supermoon“!
after a string of incredible releases throughout the past few years, and work in bands and acts across Manchester, PHIA SKY has returned with her first release since 2021 – and it sounds as good as ever, an incredible return for the electro-pop songwriter.
with an incredible creative electronic atmosphere surrounding the track, and a beautiful use of dynamic to really make the song pop, this one’s definitely one to check out. the use of contrasting synthesisers and sounds blend so well with one another, creating an eerie yet awe-inspiring backdrop for PHIA’s vocals to soar over, and really highlights her unique and intricate songwriting. the gorgeous soundscape of the track is present throughout, albeit in differing forms, yet maintaining a lovely sense of continuity throughout and ensuring that PHIA is one to watch here in the North West.
