the final single from her upcoming album out next week, it sounds fantastic – we reviewed her previous single “To Be A Woman” and her songwriting talent is incredible, we love her ability to convey such complex emotions and feelings through real and down-to-earth lyricism βοΈ
this single sounds so lovely, with a gorgeous synth-pop element to it, it flows superbly and effortlessly, and creates a great lo-fi atmosphere that matches the tone of the lyricism expertly, allowing the listener to really connect with the story, it’s a really honest and personal track that sounds incredible. π€ we can’t wait to hear the full album!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Give A Little Love” by County Pilots πΆ
the Preston-based retro-pop outfit have been making waves on the scene, having released a bunch of great singles over the past few years, and performing a load across the North West π
we’ve been fans of their music for a good while now, with an unmistakable feel-good vibe behind the tunes, and this new single is a classic example of their sound! with a groovy, summer-y guitar riff forming the basis of the track, there’s a real tight rhythm section that grounds the tune superbly, and you can hear a bunch of influences in there, ranging from indie-rock to folk to country. it’s a great listen with a proper singalong feel to it, and expert lyricism that paints a real picture – a fantastic new single from them! βοΈ
