our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single from Flowers of Evil “Disparate” with Jenny Perry, out earlier this month! 💥
we’ve been huge fans of Flowers of Evil since we heard their single “Cherry-AID“, a huge upbeat track that is quintessential to their sound, weaving various different influences and genres throughout their music constantly, proving their musical capabilities and efforts – always keeping it fresh and new with every release! 👊
this new single is no different; a mellow and calming relaxed start, feeling super melodic and flowing superbly, building so well with the use of vocal harmonies, delicate melodies throughout that compliment one another, and their first single to utilise both Spanish and English! throughout the track, it changes drastically, becoming more rhythmic and heavy, opening up to huge vocals and a massive atmosphere, their use of dynamic throughout is exceptional – we can only imagine this would be incredible live, a real journey throughout the track. 🙌
we’re super looking forward to this on the 11th of April at the Grafton Arms for our headline show with the incredible Paul Shepherd ahead of his new single release!
