Our feature for today’s Knead To Know is the fantastic Farrow & Friends Promotions 🤘 they host various open mics across Manchester and they’re a real cornerstone of the scene!

During the pandemic last year they hosted open mics over at Lions Den Bar Deansgate each Friday and provided a fantastic covid-secure environment for performers to keep going, with busy nights each week with some of Manchester’s finest artists and really kept the scene alive during a tough time! 🌞

They now host two open mics – the Friday one down at Lions Den as previously mentioned and also one on a Sunday at Royal Oak, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy 🤘 they have featured artists for each one, if you want to perform just drop them a message! 😊

Open mic at the Grafton Arms! ☀️

we’re super super stoked to be able to announce our brand new open mic at the Grafton Arms!!

each Tuesday we’ll be down with our very own michael webster hosting – we’re doing around 7-11pm, walk in slots available so just turn up and play, or alternatively drop michael a message to reserve a slot!

this is gonna start up on the Tuesday 13th July – we’re sure that it’s going to be fantastic. make sure you get down! even more on the way as well

covid restrictions apply – please bring your own microphones and instruments if possible, and ensure you have masks on you! find more information at our Facebook event Open Mic at The Grafton Arms!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new tune from Rivver ‘Blue Lagoon’!

the Wigan four-piece return with yet another strong single, following on from their singles and EP last year – meshing indie rock with pop-jangly riffs, ‘Blue Lagoon’ really shows that Rivver are here to bring the summer vibes this year!

with a driving bassline controlling the track, unmistakably Northern vocals and a feel-good attitude throughout the track, there’s plenty to enjoy here as it erupts into the chorus with positivity and vibes that we’ve all been missing this last year. that guitar solo at the end and the building element of the track is class as well, super boss tune!

Virtual open mic! 🍞

we’ve got our virtual open mic tonight over in our Bread Social group hosted by michael webster!!

starting up around 7pm, we’ve got a bunch of amazing musicians from the scene here in the North West playing and as always, it’s going to be a lovely one can’t wait for this one.
