:Just The Crust 20/01/25: The Late Freddie Price – Melody Unknown 🎶
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Melody Unknown” from The Late Freddie Price 👊
we’ve known Freddie for a good while now, having had him perform at our open mics across Manchester, and he’s been playing gigs in and around the city for a good while now – making a mark with his introspective, folk-indie inspired music 🎶
this new single sounds mega, a lovely 60’s throwback with a real Dylan-esque atmosphere – his lyricism is descriptive, image-inducing and powerful 🤝 with a lovely backdrop of rhythm laying the base of the tune, and a gorgeous guitar pattern lacing the atmosphere, it’s got a real groove and style to it; and with a catchy hook that is sincere and direct, it’s a really powerful indication of his talent. 🌙
you can find the track on all streaming platforms, and there’s a full music video available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp7j4w3DdQ0 – well worth checking out! 🎥
